Happy New Year!​

Now, more than ever before, teachers need help and encouragement in teaching respect for others.

​

Throughout this curriculum, you will find help with incorporating songs and music from all ethnicities, cultures, and genres. ​​​​​

​Unit 3 (also part of the Curriculum Bundle) includes songs and activities to use for Martin Luther King Day and during  Black History Month,

 

This is a wonderful opportunity to reinforce having respect all cultures. Conversations about how it feels to be mistreated. Everyone is, at some point. It's our response that makes the difference!

March - April - May

​Looking ahead to Spring!

Too many times, the last couple of months of school get torn apart by field trips—"Oh, did I forget to tell you? Sorry about that! Half of the grade will miss music today and the other half tomorrow. That won't be a problem will it?" OR "Mrs. Aston, we need you to help out with Field Day. It's just one day out of the year. Seriously, you're not really doing anything important these last few weeks?" And the list goes on! YIKES!!​

 

​What to do?!?

This curriculum takes these interruptions into account when planning your lesson plans.

 

Believe it or not, you can continue a sequential curriculum while also accommodating all the needs and pulls thrown at you at the end of the year!
